The sign has a crown, arrows and a tree depicting the martyrdom of King Edmund, the King of East Anglia who is believed to have been slain in Hoxne in 879 AD. It also features an element which relate to local finds from the Hoxne Hoard and a replica Kerrison Coin as used by the Kerrison Family on their Suffolk estates. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6640441
