A newly-opened student accommodation building, making part use of existing brick buildings. The accommodation aims at the most absurdly wealthy students, featuring every un-necessity imaginable; including play-slides, cinemas, saunas and study areas with Macintosh computers. The reception/security staff are referred to as Concierge. The restoration of the original brick buildings, seen prominently here, has been completed very respectfully and looks very pleasing. The new-build block, seen at the back of the site, is quite the opposite. This dreary dusty-pink block rudely emerges in the centre of the famous views of Upper Lincoln, as viewed from the Brayford Pool, very much in the same manner as the high-rise mid-20th Century developments in Lincoln Centre. Here it is, from the Brayford Pool. Image]
