The sign at Darsham celebrates the coming of the railway and its importance even today. The station which lies midway between Darsham and Yoxford, opened on June 1st 1859, and is still in service on the Lowestoft to Ipswich line which connects with Norwich and the north and London to the south. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6636163
