Route 5 has come from Bromsgrove. The topmost sign on the pole across the road is pointing the wrong way but the left-pointing sign is correct: a tortuous route to Redditch town centre and onwards to Stratford-upon-Avon. Headless Cross, to the right, is another Redditch district.
