This old and eroded pier a short distance north of Harrington Harbour appears to have been constructed mainly from iron furnace slag. It carried a railway siding branching from the Harrington Harbour Branch which with its sidings occupied the land to the right of the photograph. The England Coast Path follows the broad track.
