Wrexham station is on the Chester to Shrewsbury line and is soon have a direct service to Marylebone station, London. The plaque on the left of the photo encapsulates the station's history from 1846 when it served the Shrewsbury & Chester Railway which amalgamated with the Great Western Railway in 1854. In the late 1990's the station was restored and is a pleasure to wait in!
