A rather striking early-mid 19th century houses with shops, which attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101206662-16-and-17-burton-street-great-dawley#.X2fBrmhKjIU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1206662 in 1983. The plain-glazed ground floor window on the right (reflecting the redbrick building) seems to be a recent replacement for an older small-pane window, and does little for the character of the place, in my view; it seems quite surprising that this was permitted by Telford & Wrekin Council.
