Opened in 1865 by the Great Eastern Railway on the line from Long Melford to Bury St Edmunds, this station closed to passengers in 1961 and completely in 1965. View north east towards Cockfield and Bury St Edmunds from underneath the former road bridge. The site has been redeveloped for housing but this view would have been looking end-on at the ends of the two platforms with the main station building having been on the right.
