Hitchin Museum and Art Gallery

This is Charnwood House, donated to Hitchin in 1938 and 1941 to house the public library and museum. It is Grade II listed. The museum has now moved away to extended town hall premises in Brand Street but according to a report in 2018, Charnwood is still being used by the museum service.
