Once a bastion for Manchester City fans, the pub on the corner of Every Street and Beswick Street has been closed ever since the Metrolink tramway was built across its frontage. Dating back to at least the 1840s it has been owned by Pollard Street Brewery, Walker & Homfrays, Wilsons and then Banks's before Punch Taverns who closed it in 2009 http://pubs-of-manchester.blogspot.com/2013/10/mitchell-arms-every-street.html
