As part of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS) project, Abbotsinch Road is to be realigned, upgraded and extended, with pedestrian and cycle lanes. The bulk of the project, though, will involve the large area to the southeast (the right) of the road. Some changes were already taking shape there: Image / Image The buildings on the left are associated with Glasgow Airport; for the nearer and further buildings see, respectively, https://www.geograph.org.uk/snippet/13738 and https://www.geograph.org.uk/snippet/16695
