Signs for a food bank and a closed cafe highlight the nature of the pandemic's effects on the rural economy. A parking ticket on the BMW (not mine!) may have been justified, but was hardly the way to attract people back to a failing town desperately in need of shoppers. The 420 bus service between Worcester, Bromyard & Hereford had restarted service, but this one, like so many, was not carrying any passengers.
