When I visited in August 2020, the visitor centre at South Walney was closed to follow Government guidelines to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) during the 2020 pandemic https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_in_the_United_Kingdom .
