The City Council has secured funding to undertake works to keep cyclists safe and encourage more active travel. Here, a new cycle lane has been introduced via North Bridge; it previously utilised the adjacent footpath. Road users have been told of the reason through an information sign reading: 'Safer cycling lanes being trialled'.
