This is the view from the beach at Bexhill at low tide. The flats are on the other side of West Parade. Each block has the name of a Caribbean island - hence St Lucia, Montserrat, St Kitts, Grenada, St Thomas and Tobago. The seafront at Bexhill does seem rather a long way from the Caribbean.
