Barrow-in-Furness - dry dock gate opening mechanism

This operates the sliding gate on the dock alongside the former entrance to Devonshire Dock from the Walney Channel. This mechanism consists of one hydraulic motor direct coupled to a shaft with two chain wheels (one seen) to pull open the gate.
