Or Kirkby Fleetham Hall. Located almost a mile north of the village, next to the local church. This present incarnation was built by William Aislabie for his daughter in the mid 18th Century. Since then it has passed through several hands including the Courage Brewery Family. It has also been a hotel and country retreat. At present it is privately owned with part of the property rented off as private apartments. The building in Grade II Listed.
