Three women natter away on the road bridge as Class 56092 and coal empties go by unnoticed. The first 30 Class 56 locomotives were built at Electroputere in Romania, but due to shoddy workmanship the rest were built by BREL at Doncaster Works. Production started in 1976 and ran until 1984. In all 135 were built. This long shot makes the train seem shorter than it is. Another view towards the bridge by Martin Addison http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/581827
