Introduction
The photograph on this page of Changing countryside by Graham Cole as part of the Geograph project.

Barn conversion on the left and a modern bungalow on the right are typical Monmouthshire farmland features. In this case the farm sheds are still used because sheep farming continues. Hedges are tidily cut or pleached and the road is just wide enough for a lorry to pass.
