One of the most deeply cut of the local dumbles https://www.geograph.org.uk/discuss/index.php?&action=vthread&forum=5&topic=9532 , the best part of 10 metres deep. This view shows natural evolution of ancient woodland, with a naturally fallen tree opening up a clearing for further regrowth.
