Regrettably a rather grainy picture of cycle racing in Preston Park in the 1950's. Cyclists would come from clubs all across Sussex, including Hastings, Uckfield, Tumbridge Wells and Worthing in addition to at least three clubs from Brighton. These events were well supported by spectators. here seen seated on the terraces, having paid a small fee to enter.
