The window is a memorial surmounted by the Station badge with the Queen's crown "In honour of those who served. Royal Air Force Stradishall 1938 - 1970" On the right is the Badge of the Royal Air Force with the King's crown. During its lifetime the station was home to at least 23 different squadrons
