In July 2020 the name in view is HSBC UK. It was HSBC https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2459858 in June 2011. Cadw records that this building was purpose built for the Midland Bank in the Classical style. It is a late example of Edwardian Baroque, probably dating from just before the First World War. Grade II Listed in 1997 as a particularly good and unaltered example of the Midland Bank house style of the early 20th century.
