One of two surviving buildings from the comprehensive redevelopment of this area. This is the Grade II listed Central Buffet undergoing restoration. The architects were George Vigers and Wagstaffe: it was built in 1883, and is Grade II listed - https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1380201.
