This is an important building on several levels. An ironworks was established here in 1800 by john Bradley, later joined by James Foster and John Rastrick. This building is the "New Foundry" and dates from 1820 with a spectacular composite cast and wrought iron roof structure. The locomotive Agenoria was built here in 1828 and Stourbridge Lion in 1829 (the first loco in America). The building has now been restored and is in use by a health centre.
