Moved to Basford New Vic Theatre in 1986. The building was originally built as a picture house in 1914; in the late 1950s it became a nightclub and, finally, in 1962 was acquired and converted to its present form at a cost of £5,000. It opened its doors as a theatre on October 9th, 1962. No.19 Neville Malkin's "Grand Tour" of the Potteries http://www.thepotteries.org/tour/019.htm
