At a time when barbers are in demand having just been allowed to re-open after the coronavirus pandemic lockdown Mr G's Barbers Image has closed permanently. Like the former Lloyd Howard Insurance Services Image to the left on the corner of Patterson Street, it will likely be converted into a residential property. In the background work has begun on the construction of new houses on the land formerly occupied by Oldham Batteries.
