Tippings Lane, Woodley

Tippings Lane used to stretch from Lund's Farm, formerly located on the left of this picture, all the way to Sandford Mill, a mile to the south-east. It formed the original perimeter of Woodley Aerodrome in the 1930s, but much of it was lost when the airfield was expanded. Houses were built on this section in the 1960s after the demolition of Lund's Farm.
