This Roman Catholic church on Otley Old Road, within the Parish of Our Lady of Kirkstall, was built in 1953, as recorded on this stone that names Bishop (later Cardinal) John Heenan as having consecrated it. Some of the text has already been eroded beyond readability. See Image for context.
