This memorial stone to John William Thackeray (died 1947), his wife Louisa (1910), daughter-in-law Margaret (1937) and her (second?) husband Henry Marshall (1950) will serve as representative of this older section of the cemetery. I wondered whether they may be related to Charles Thackray of the medical museum in Leeds, but it seems not - the spelling is different and an online search suggests John William was a plane maker in Armley.
