The unusually named pub had been closed for refurbishment when last photographed for this site a few months earlier Image Then the Covid-19 crisis hit and all pubs had to shut anyway. This was the reopening day, "Super Saturday". Unlike town centre pubs, it was quiet at lunchtime and I was able to wander in and have a quiet drink. It was originally the Cardigan Arms, the nearby mines having been part of the Cardigan Estate (the Earls of Cardigan still own a lot of land in the Leeds area). I don't know when its name was changed.
