Planning permission has been granted by Canterbury City Council under application number CA//17/01632 for “proposed change of use from care home to residential; together with two-storey rear and roof extension, entailing roof lights to front with 3 dormers and roof lights to rear, to provide 10 apartments”. This was Image in May 2019; it looks much the same as it did then, possibly due to the coronavirus pandemic. At the far end of the nursing home is the Image
