Thwaite Bridge crossing Thwaite Beck in the village of Thwaite. I arrived here at about 3:30 in the afternoon when walking the Pennine Way, my log in Wainwright's 'Pennine Companion' described the weather as 'sunny and hot' . I stopped here for about half-an-hour before pressing on to Keld.
