Hotel with bar and restaurant in a resdidential suburb dating from c.1870. The plot includes the steeply-sloped Stenhouse Burn to left of this image. Pictured when closed during the Covid-19 lockdown. A planning application was submitted in July 2020 to demolish the hotel and construct purpose-built student accommodation comprising over 100 studio apartments over five floors (including lower ground).
