Reopened on 4 July after the further easing of the lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, which had been imposed on 23 March, people are enjoying a pint and a chat. A number of safety measures such as social distancing and hand sanitising stations have been put in place. The seating area has been cordoned off and the pavement is sufficiently wide for pedestrians to pass without having to step out onto the road.
