The roundabout is faced by the Cross House Inn and a One Stop convenience store. The cross dates from 1879 and is Grade II listed: https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101075896-stone-cross-in-centre-of-roundabout-formby#.XwIBKGhKhPY
