The Geograph 1:25000 OS map used for submission is out-of-date. This view is taken from near Image, which notes the diversion of the footpath. Now, most of the land between the path and Backwell Hill Road, including the area named The Spinney, has been excavated. The quarry is actually not visible from the bridleway, but there is a slightly higher footpath through the adjacent woodland, from where this image was taken.
