These perspex covered structures form part of a new outdoor garden and dining area which has been created in the car park of The Barn Restaurant. An easing of government restrictions from July 4th relating to the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic allowed restaurant and pubs to re-open as long as certain guidelines, to minimise the spread of the infection, were implemented. These dining pods offer diners who have concerns about social distancing in larger dining areas the option to dine with minimum contact with other people. The pods are already fully booked for all of July with diners desperate to dine out again following 16 weeks of lock-down.
