Ordnance Survey records indicate that in 1957 a benchmark levelled at 162.800m above Newlyn Datum was verified on the corner of the wall fronting the nearest house (#37). The wall left of the corner appears to have been demolished to provide vehicular access, and to the right rebuilt or rendered
