This section of Duppa's Almshouses was built in the 15th century, although the almshouses were founded here in 1661. You can see a plaque on the timbers on the left of this photo saying; "FORGET NOT YOUR GOOD BENEFACTOR BRION DUPPA BISHOP OF WINCHESTER WHO BIELD ED THIS HOSPITOLLIN 1661".
