The end of the main runway at Brize Norton airfield is behind the fence on the left and whenever planes are using it the traffic lights keep vehicles off the short section of road seen here. It's quite usual to see aircraft enthusiasts by the road waiting for anything that might be happening. The colourful plants are in a small flower bed by an emergency gate into the airfield.
