On the north-east margin of Parker's Piece and opposite Warkworth Terrace, this stench pole has lost most of its light green paint except for a few remnants round the base, and its corona top is hidden by the summer foliage. On the opposite street corners a glimpse of the central police station and (perhaps conveniently for those who fall foul of the law) the elegant Georgian offices of Barr Ellison solicitors. Like many others in the city, this installation is a product of Ham Baker, who had an office in Westminster and a foundry in Tipton.
