The bungalow on the left is the site of Tyberton Court, which was one of the finest Georgian country houses in the county of Herefordshire. Built in 1729 for William Brydges, the parkland here began to be built a few years later, including a ginormous lake, which still remains by now. The Brydges family owned the court here until the early 19th century; there were lack of male heirs and ownership passed to the Lee Warner family not long after. The Lee Warner family owned the court for over a century until it got demolished in 1952. The brick buildings seen in the centre-right were possibly the stables for the court, and I'm surprised that they still remain now. This photo was taken from the churchyard at St. Mary's church, and I'm glad that the village church wasn't knocked down at that time!
