The tree is at the junction of Peatling Road and Main Street. The plaque at the base of the tree reads: 1837 - 1897 This tree was planted by Miss Webster of Peatling Hall on June 28th 1897 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of our Gracious Queen Victoria.
