A view, taken from Horton's Viewpoint, across the lake known as "The Workings" in Tice's Meadow Nature Reserve in Surrey. In the distance, on the far bank, amongst the wildfowl are a pair of rare Black-winged Stilts, present for their first day. These Mediterranean rarities are the first recorded for the site and only the 7th for Surrey.
