A central open space on the campus of Newcastle University. During what would normally be a busy time on campus at the end of term the space is deserted as, in common with much of the country, staff and students have been told to work from home as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic which struck the country in the early months of 2020. Image shows the scene taken from a similar position 10 years earlier.
