The Lonsdale pub, near West Jesmond Metro Station. The pub has its windows boarded up as a temporary measure after it was forced to close for an indefinite period from March 2020 due to restrictions imposed by the government in an effort to control the COVID-19 pandemic that struck the country in the early part of the year.
