View from a passing train, with the coaling stage a prominent feature and suburban Weymouth beyond. The latter has now spread over the area of the depot. Locomotives visible include Merchant Navy class 4-6-2 35012 'United States Line', to its right an unidentified West Country class pacific, and next to the coaling stage a BR Standard Class 5.
