The cycle circuit, 1.6km long, is part of the Brownlee Centre, a dedicated triathlon training centre at Leeds University named after Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, world champion triathletes from Leeds. Ordinary cyclists may use the facility for a fee when it isn't being used for professional training. This is the northern loop of the circuit seen from Bodington Avenue.
