The company, Street Structures, says on their web site they are "We are one of the UK's leading specialists in design, manufacture & installation of building facades & their associated external features." We are here under the blue sky of a Covid-19 shutdown, and no serious construction work is going on around here, and nothing of the sort of prestige these people are accustomed to. But here they are. The vans are, of course, Ford Transits. They are fitted with the offside glazier's racks used to carry glass or glazed window sections, a fitting unchanged in basic design since my grandfather's day. The forward one has a rooftop ladder rack.
